The innovative, twisted shape of the shaft allows for self-ejection of chips, significantly easing your work. Particularly noteworthy is the centering point, which is equipped with a double lead screw and seamlessly transitions into the cutting edges of the chip removers. This ensures uniform power transmission and maximum comfort during the drilling process. To prevent jamming during use, all our auger bits feature a targeted taper of 1:50 to 1:100 up to the end of the shaft.

Application

To ensure optimal use of our wooden nails in oak or larch, a hole is first drilled, with a diameter or cross-section that exactly matches that of the wooden nail. This is followed by driving the nail in with a hammer, creating a stable connection. Wooden nails have a wide range of applications, particularly in pure wood-to-wood connections, the renovation of roof structures, and the construction of timber frames.
